Job Descrption
You will be preparing BOQ and estimate material requirements and choosing the most appropriate materials. You will also provide complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare BOQs and quotations.
• Measure and calculate the cost of materials for interior fitout projects .
• Prepare tender submissions and take offs Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret plans Contract administration.
• Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
• Identify design and construct ability issues and analysis to determine construct ability.
• Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
• Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants), and client.
• Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.
• Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.).
• Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate.
• Perform assessment on subcontractor proposals to ascertain if scope is covered and also manage the risk of scope gaps.
• Your job involves interiors of building, residential, offices, bank, shops, hotels and restaurants.
• Responsible for managing primary inventory work, made drafting of space plans, site measurement, elevations etc.
REQUIREMENTS
• A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of work experience.
• You should have at least 2-3 years' experience in estimation & costing with fit-out company. Minimum 2 years in UAE is desirable.
• You will be required to have a strong understanding of construction methodologies and good understanding of CAD.
• Must have knowledge of production (joinery) and installation, and (joinery & fit-out) procedures.
• Strategic planning skills.
• Analytical and extremely detail oriented.
• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, should there be changes in work priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
• Ability to Multitask based on requirement at hand.
• Free visa and Medical Induarnce will be given by company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
