Job Description
The purpose of this role is to receive and register samples on to the LIMS system in an accurate and timely manner. The role holder will be expected to ensure the customer experience is maximized through accurate and timely performance of duties relating to receiving customer samples.
Key Accountabilities
- Adhere to the Customer Service Standards and work towards agreed team KPIs.
- Store samples in appropriate locations/conditions
- Record all customer activity in our LIMs/Q Pulse database in a timely manner.
- Log any non-conformances or customer complaints using Q-pulse.
- Effectively communicate any quality issues to the attention of the Quality Team.
- Organise sample collections when requested.
- To effectively communicate with internal and external customers during contract review and sample queries.
- Where required provide cover and support to the overall customer services function.
- Provide clients with required consumables, including standing orders, and Adhoc requests.
- Liaise with customers and logistics regarding collections, and booking collection requests.
- Chase PO requirements and ensure PO are entered into the system when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of HND or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience of working within the food industry
- Experience of AIS LIMS is advantageous
