Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Commercial Law Graduate to join our esteemed legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate who is passionate about commercial law and eager to gain practical experience in a professional setting. As a Commercial Law Graduate, you will work closely with experienced attorneys and professionals, assisting them in various aspects of commercial law practice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on commercial law matters
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Assist in due diligence investigations and contract negotiations
- Provide legal support in mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and compliance matters
- Attend meetings with clients and assist in providing legal advice
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance
- Stay updated with changes in commercial law and regulations
- Assist in managing legal documentation and maintaining accurate records
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you’ll need Bachelor's degree in Law and a strong academic record, ideally with a focus in commercial law.
In addition, you will also demonstrate;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in legal research tools and computer software
- Prior internship or work experience in commercial law is preferred
- Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality
