Job Description
- Job Title: Global Digital Content Designer
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: 37.5hrs per week, 9am-5:30pm
- Job Location: Frimley, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
- Salary: From £35,000
As the Global Digital Content Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence and driving engagement across various platforms. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling digital content that captivates our audience and aligns with our brand vision.
Key Accountabilities
- Design new and effective digital content from initial project scope, through to storyboarding and the physical course build (using tools including – but not limited to – Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Adapt and Elucidat)
- Apply instructional design theory and best practice
- Create a wide-range of engaging digital content incorporating video, audio, animations, images, simulations, quizzes, etc.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders during the project lifecycle
- Work with the Global Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, senior stakeholders and international offices
- Provide creative input for any digital sales proposals
- Undertake such other duties as may from time to time be required to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the team
Qualifications
- Strong instructional design experience in the creation of digital
- A strong understanding of digital authoring tools (such as Articulate 360, Adapt, Elucidat,)
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Highly literate with experience of creative writing
- Good visual design skills and the ability to storyboard
- Good verbal communicator, including the potential need to liaise with external clients
- An understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong project management and time management skills
Experience
- Evidence of a previous portfolio in digital instructional design
- Evidence of strong creative writing skills
- Strong understanding of digital industry standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI)
- The ability to work within a global team environment
