Job Description
Job Title: Global Digital Content Designer
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5hrs per week, 9am-5:30pm
Job Location: Frimley, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
Salary: From £35,000
As the Global Digital Content Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence and driving engagement across various platforms. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling digital content that captivates our audience and aligns with our brand vision.
Key Accountabilities
Design new and effective digital content from initial project scope, through to storyboarding and the physical course build (using tools including – but not limited to – Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Adapt and Elucidat)
Apply instructional design theory and best practice
Create a wide-range of engaging digital content incorporating video, audio, animations, images, simulations, quizzes, etc.
Maintain project documentation and course folders during the project lifecycle
Work with the Global Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, senior stakeholders and international offices
Provide creative input for any digital sales proposals
Undertake such other duties as may from time to time be required to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the team
Qualifications
Strong instructional design experience in the creation of digital
A strong understanding of digital authoring tools (such as Articulate 360, Adapt, Elucidat,)
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Highly literate with experience of creative writing
Good visual design skills and the ability to storyboard
Good verbal communicator, including the potential need to liaise with external clients
An understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Ability to deliver high levels of customer service
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong project management and time management skills
Experience
Evidence of a previous portfolio in digital instructional design
Evidence of strong creative writing skills
Strong understanding of digital industry standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI)
The ability to work within a global team environment
