Job title: Calibration Technician
Your New role
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating, repairing and the issuing of certificates for instrumentation, meters and gauges at our Nottingham site in line with required standards (i.e. UKAS accreditation). You may be required to attend client sites on to perform calibration activities.
You will follow documented procedures and work within agreed timescales to meet client deadlines and offer an excellent service. This role requires you to liaise with customers, providing an efficient and accurate response to all communications in order to maintain high customer service levels.
You will need experience of practical work in engineering and an understanding on calibration techniques and engineering. You must have a full and valid driving license for use in the UK. The minimum qualifications for this role are GCSE in Mathematics and English (grades A* to C) or equivalent.
