Job Description
Make your mark as a Senior Geophysicist at Gardline!
We are looking for a Senior Geophysicist to undertake and lead interpretation and processing of shallow geophysical data and prepare associated reports and deliverables.
Project types range from traditional site survey work to large scale offshore renewable developments. These can include specific surveys aimed at potential UXO threats, API surveys, and cable installation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead preparation, acquisition, and delivery of geophysical projects
- Processing and interpretation of shallow geophysical data
- Integrate data from a variety of sources including environmental, geotechnical, shallow geophysical and multichannel seismic
- Compile and check technical geohazard interpretation reports as well as Client deliverables
- Provide onshore support for vessel operations
- Undertake training and development within the department
Your qualities
You can make your mark as a Senior Geophysicist if you have:
- Enthusiasm, resourcefulness and personal drive
- Qualifications to level 6 or above in an earth science related subject
- Knowledge of geohazard assessments
- Knowledge of industry software and understanding of coding
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good understanding of the marine survey industry
- Team spirit, adaptability and a collaborative work ethic

- Fulltime job: The position of Senior Geophysicist is a fulltime role, 37.5 hours per week
