Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Systems Accountant to join our finance team.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will be to act as the superuser for the finance system Oracle NetSuite. You will make any changes to the system, especially new integrations and potential areas for further automation.
We are looking for an individual with a proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and who can build strong relationships and communicate well across the team.
What does the job involve?
- Working with the finance team to build out the reporting structure and dashboard structure, including management reporting and year-end reports
- Evaluating and proposing improvements to system functionality and working to drive best use from the system
- Maintaining and developing Chart of Accounts
- Maintaining and reviewing permissions for finance systems
- Training and supporting colleagues to use Oracle NetSuite more effectively
- Supporting annual external audit process (IT General Controls for Finance)
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3 years minimum post qualified experience
- Oracle NetSuite experience is desirable but not required
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including modelling
- An understanding of Finance data, systems, and processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment where meeting tight deadlines is critical, and Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team.
