Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to support our Fortune 100 client, a global provider of healthcare and retail pharmacy services, in driving the success of product development initiatives. The Technical PO will effectively manage multiple high-velocity workstreams, collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, and ensure the timely delivery of key milestones. Additionally, the individual will lead the transition from Waterfall to Agile methodology, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the organization.

Location: Fully remote (East Coast preferred with occasional travel to NYC area)
Duration: Through end of 2024 with high likelihood of extension

What you’ll do:
Workstream Management: Effectively manage four high-velocity workstreams, each comprising multiple active projects. Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional Agile teams, including UI/UX designers, Decision Scientists, and Data Engineers, to ensure alignment with product goals and objectives.
Roadmap and User Story Formulation: Develop comprehensive roadmaps and user stories to guide product development efforts. Work closely with leadership to prioritize initiatives and ensure the timely achievement of essential milestones.
Timeline Review and Risk Assessment: Review project timelines, assess risks, and track progress throughout the product development lifecycle. Utilize a range of project management tools such as Rally, Monday.com, Excel, Miro, and others to monitor and communicate project status effectively.
Stakeholder Satisfaction: Gauge stakeholder satisfaction by soliciting feedback and ensuring alignment with their expectations. Proactively address any concerns or issues to maintain a high level of stakeholder engagement and support.
Agile Methodology Implementation: Facilitate the shift from Waterfall to Agile methodology within the organization. Provide training and guidance to enhance team operational efficiency and lead scrum ceremonies to ensure Agile best practices are followed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role within a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience implementing Agile practices within teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Rally, Monday.com, Excel, Miro, etc.
Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification

The pay range for this role is $65-70 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
