Air Charter Service are the number one charter broker and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a detail orientated and driven Finance Analyst to join the dynamic team here in our London HQ.
Job Description
The key purpose of this role is to support transaction processing, financial reporting and internal controls. Duties will included but are not limited too:
- Daily posting of payments and receipts in various currencies
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Setting up payments following the Company’s standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Processing booking forms: raising purchase orders and sales invoices
- Processing supplier invoices and staff expenses
- Sales and purchase ledger reviews and maintenance
- Communicating with the sales team and dealing with the queries
- Team player helping other members of the Team with the workload and holiday cover as and when required
- Intercompany transactions including journals
- Month end and year end duties including: bank revaluations, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets, sales and cost of sales reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and liaising with the external auditors
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Finance Analyst - essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Previous experience using MS Excel
- Well organised and pro-active with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Flexible and reliable
- Diligent
- Trustworthy
- Fluency in a second language is desired
