New Customer Acquisition – Marketing Manager

You will be responsible for delivering innovative marketing campaigns globally to support the businesses growth ambitions. You will work with colleagues in customer insight, product marketing, brand & influence, campaigns, operations and martech to deliver on that plan.

You will lead, coach and manage a team of marketing specialists to deliver integrated campaigns on time and budget driving high quality MQLs. You’ll be adept at managing a team to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

You will build strong working relationships with Marketing Business Partnering and Planning and Marketing Operations. You’ll be expected to deliver campaigns to build, manage and grow the funnel, confidently communicating plans, managing CPL and optimising campaign journeys to drive results.

This is a key role in the marketing organisation that requires strong project management and problem-solving skills;  creative thinking, excellent communication and demonstrable stakeholder management experience - and an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Principal responsibilities and tasks:

  • Lead, coach and manage a team of Marketing specialists to deliver integrated campaigns globally on time and on budget.
  • Review briefs and align with Marketing Business Partnering and Planning team.
  • Manage your team to creatively interpret these briefs into innovative and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage campaign budgets working with the team to creatively spend to maximise campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop longer cycle campaign journeys; Implement A/B testing and review results to constantly optimise.
  • Effective budget management & forecasting – daily budget management to deliver strong ROI at low CPL.
  • Performance analysis – constantly evaluate campaign success and optimise to improve performance.
  • Review CPL and CPS benchmarking to effectively manage budget.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations team to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Run team campaign retrospectives to ensure constant learning and evaluation of performance and optimisation.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders – Marketing Business Partnering and Planning, Marketing Operations and Insights
  • Work closely with Business Partnering and Planning communicating during stages of campaign development and results
  • Champion a culture of test and learn; continuous improvement and innovation in order to optimise campaign effectiveness

Essential competencies:

  • Extensive people management experience – demonstrable experience of developing, coaching and leading a team to deliver successful marketing programs that deliver results.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking with a strive to deliver best in class campaigns and an always learning approach.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver to timelines and on budget.
  • Highly analytical and data driven decision making, comfortable in utilising metrics and tools to inform decision making,
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven marketing manager – 10+ years’ experience, preferably in B2B tech/SaaS market
