Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a security cleared Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join our busy and expanding London office, supporting our clients deliver projects and programmes in the Defence, Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors across London and the south east.
This role will suit individuals with strong planning, deployment, process and benchmarking experience.
At Turner & Townsend our Senior Cost Managers handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project, etc. For example a Senior Cost Manager might be the Commission Manager for a £75m+ construction project ranging up to £400m with appropriate support.
Qualifications
- Security Cleared
- Degree qualified and MRICS qualified (or working towards)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Inquisitive and problem solving skill base
- NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C
- Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy - two stage tendering experience required
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi disciplined programme team environment
