Job Description

The STEM Hub Campus Lead (Lead) position reports to the Pathways Director and supports all career and technical education training at the STEM Hub Campus. The Lead ensures high academic and behavioral expectations are maintained in all on-site CTE courses and activities. In executing all responsibilities, the Lead must focus on excellent outcomes for the students who KNOS serves and the organization as a whole. The Lead’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Point of contact for all operations related to in-house CTE programming (busing, schedule adjustments).

  • Ensures high academic and behavioral expectations are maintained in all on-site CTE courses and activities

  • Serves as point of contact for all operations related to in-house CTE programming (busing, schedule adjustments).

  • Update student grades on a weekly basis for students across all 3 high schools.

  • Provide in-classroom support to maintain academic and behavioral expectations and foster a strong and positive sense of community at the CTE Campus.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with students, parents, and school based CTE personnel regarding student progress toward pathway goals.

  • Develop and review student Individual graduation plans. Ensure students are on-track to graduate and request course changes as needed.

  • Coordinate with School Counselors and Advisors to advise and support student post-secondary plans.

  • Plan and execute site visits and other career exploration opportunities for enrolled and prospective pathway students.

  • Accurately report student certification and enrollment information in the student information system.

  • Maintain accurate attendance and behavioral records in the student information system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • Preferred 4+ years of experience in education.

  • Strong computer literacy, communication and interpersonal skills are highly preferred.

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once.

  • Must be able to sit and work at a desk/computer for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to spend the majority of the day standing or mobile throughout a school or office, as well as talk, hear, grasp, reach and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodations

  • Ability to concentrate in active and noisy environments such as schools, to more moderate situations such large group professional settings

  • Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment

  • Ability to handle potential high stress conditions
