Job Description
This role will ensure we have the capability to create and maintain a range of mobile applications across Specialised Finance, adhering to the architecture standards defined. This role will be responsible for ensuring our mobile applications are modern, consistent, and intuitive to use with a focus on UI/UX and the product and customer needs.
This role requires a good understanding of security processes and best practices for secure application development and requires strong testing skills and good ownership of product quality.
Working with engineering, product, and business teams primarily within Digital Audit, the Mobile Developer will:
- Create and maintain a range of modern native mobile products in both iOS and Android platforms.
- Stay updated on best practise and available technologies, helping to ensure our mobile products are kept up to date and secure.
- Work as part of a team of mobile engineers that uphold the standards and design solutions, to meet the functional requirements defined by the product team.
- Participate in the defined processes and schedules that ensure technical debt is regularly addressed.
- Maintain a feedback loop across both engineering and product teams to ensure design decisions continue to meet requirements and are clearly understood.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, diagrams and other materials covering software aligned to the documentation standards defined by the architecture team.
- Identify risks associated with architectural decisions and ensure such risks are clearly visible to implementors and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are interested in hearing from you, if you have most of the following attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in both iOS and Android solutions and build tools.
- Strong technical ability across multiple programming languages (such as Swift, Java/Kotlin, JavaScript, Objective-C), with the capability to pick up new languages and tooling as needed.

Salary range for this role is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
