Sales Improvement Manager

National/ Remote – with regular travel to sites

Are you experienced within Field Sales and looking for the next challenge? Do you enjoy improving processes and embedding change? This could be the role for you! We are on the look out for a Sales Improvement Manager to join our Commercial Operations team to ensure our sales colleagues have the right tool set to deliver world class commercial results.

It’ll be your job to work on a daily basis with members of the commercial leadership team, commercial sales teams and support functions to provide and gain actionable insight, recommendations and support with the implementation and embedding of improvement plans & projects, reviewing and evaluating results to continuously improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.

This is a national role, so you can be based anywhere in the UK. This role requires regular travel to our sites nationally. This could sometimes be 2-3 times a week and may require some over night stays occasionally. (company car is included and travel expensed)

What you will be doing;

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies & effectiveness across Sales teams by actively visiting colleagues face to face for field days and understanding processes
  • Support the execution of the Sales Enablement Road Map
  • Develop strong and positive relationships with stakeholders and key business areas including, Sales Leaders, BPM, CRM, Commercial Operations
  • Work closely with the CRM team to identify opportunities and make recommendations on functionality and capability that will support the drive to increase sales performance and commercial results
  • Attend & lead project meetings with key stakeholders with a clear focus on efficiency and effectiveness improvements
  • Support with the implementation and embedding of improvement plans & projects
  • Review and evaluate results to drive action and improvement and adopt a continuous improvement approach.

What we are looking for;

  • Proven experience within a field sales role is highly beneficial
  • Strong presentation skills with experience of presenting at a senior level
  • Experience and knowledge of sales processes
  • Experience of stakeholder management at a senior level
  • Analytical thinker – logical approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail
  • Experienced at establishing priorities, meeting demanding timelines, in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Flexibility to travel as required
