Job Description
The role of the Managing Director of DTS Commercial Services assumes responsibility for all aspects of the division’s services delivery portfolio within commercial clients. This leadership role will work closely with the SVP to create a cohesive, innovative, growing organization.
- Manage day to day operations of the Data and Technology Professional Services organization, providing inter and intra departmental leadership, communication and decision making.
- Profit and Loss responsibility for professional services division, to include budgeting and forecasting, and communicating these to Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Oversees project success to ensure successful delivery and effectively mitigate delivery risks and resolve client conflicts.
- Engages in strategic partnership and relationships within external and internal communities.
- Balances existing client demands while anticipating and strategizing future demands.
- Partners with internal key stake holders to work ACROSS the organization and how to influence technology in engineering sciences.
- Recruit, develop, and retain individuals that follow RESPEC Core values, PACT – Passion, Accountability, Caring, and Teamwork.
- Works with Directors to provide a cohesive vision and socialize that vision within the organization and to strategic partners.
- Engages with clients to ensure overall project satisfaction.
- Provides sales leadership and strategy to ensure revenue goals are met.
- Driving organic program growth and supporting corporate related business development initiatives
- Involved with identifying and acquiring strategic acquisitions.
- Responsible for setting performance goals for the team and monitoring progress against those goals.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching team members to ensure they have the necessary training and development opportunities.
- Strong leadership and management abilities, to influence, motivate, and inspire a team to manage resources effectively and provide clear direction and guidance.
- Ability to travel 25-50%

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering or hydrogeologist degrees preferred)
- 15+ years relevant experience
- Previous experience with commercial clients
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques applicable to the planning, modeling, design, and construction.
- Present engineering-related items to boards, public officials, and other outside stakeholders.
Compensation: Compensation range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 and will depend on several factors, including candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
