Job Description

Our valued client is looking for a skilled Data Center Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and effective functioning of our data center facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center management, infrastructure, and operations. They will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our data center operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data center operations role
• A strong background in network administration
• Ability to troubleshoot Layer 1 and Layer 2 network issues, BGP, and switch configurations
• Strong linux skills including Navigating the system’s directories and filing system Manipulating files in the Linux shell
• User permission configuration Package installation and software management
• Ability to identify and apply different filesystem types Using Linux commands for process management
• Basic troubleshooting and debugging Bash or other scripting
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements
• Effective leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Successful communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a data center operations role
• Experience with high performance computer applications
• Asset management skills
